MADE out of
Our mission is to create valuable products that have a positive impact on people and nature. We want to achieve this by working together with local makers and using only sustainable materials from Europe. MADE out of literally means 'made of'. Every product has a unique story that should be heard. The story of the material, the maker and that of you, the wearer. The minimalist designs ensure that our products are timeless and not seasonal. They are not designed with trends in mind, but with the aim of serving as staples for a long time to come. This way you can enjoy them for years and you retain the value and raw materials they contain.

Social entrepreneurship is one of our most important core values. We strive for this by joining forces with impact-driven makers. Together with them we work on diversity, inclusiveness, job satisfaction and opportunities for everyone. Sustainable products have a price, whereby you also pay for the human work and the resources behind it. Because we want to keep the chain transparent, let our chain partners grow and tell the real and honest story, we communicate openly where and with whom we produce. It is our mission to stimulate inclusive work and to give local makers a stage and face.

Locally produced

MADE in

In our view, local entrepreneurship is the new standard. Our products are therefore produced in the Netherlands from start to finish. In this way we want to commit ourselves to fair labor, transparency of the supply chain and we offer opportunities to local makers. Moreover, producing locally is more sustainable for several reasons. This means that our raw materials and end products do not have to cross the ocean, which significantly reduces CO2 emissions. Finally, we don't have to build up huge amounts of stock, which saves unnecessary waste.

Is a closure broken, a zipper no longer works or has a seam come loose? No worries. We offer a free share, repair & recycle service. Do you have a question about sending or returning your product? We have listed the most important answers for you. Feel free to contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question. In addition, we are always open to great ideas and collaborations.

When I think of my children and any grandchildren, I sincerely wonder what kind of world they will grow up in. This feeling of injustice overwhelms me. How could we have let that happen? The continuous question I asked myself: how can I use my talent and knowledge to create more happiness in life and contribute to a healthier nature? In 2018 the switch turned and I decided to follow my heart. I'm going to do it differently. Sustainable entrepreneurship, design and production was a real quest. Nothing is fixed.


There are still many uncertainties, uncertainties and points for improvement. But even more possibilities and opportunities. This intensive journey of discovery has given me an incredible amount of knowledge and inspiration. I can't wait to share this with the rest of the world. Looking back at the past year, I can only be thankful and proud of where MADE stands out of now. A unique and sustainable brand, which is worked on with great pleasure by various special makers.
