This leather like material comes from the remains of apples from the juice industry in Italy.


To make 1 liter of juice requires 1.4 KG of apples. The peel, core and dried pulp is what remains after pressing.

 

This recovered "waste" is grinded and then processed into this leather-like material. Not only reducing waste management costs but also reducing damage to the environment.


This natural waste is also used to replace other raw materials of chemical origin. Reducing emissions and energy consumption throughout the production chain. Thus, apple waste replaces up to 50% of what before came from fossil.

CIRCULAR FUTURE

Even though made from waste, being vegan and produced in Europe. The developer is working daily to increase the impact of the material. Aiming to make it 100% circular in the future. This allows us to help build an even better and more sustainable alternative.


We are currently working on an LCA measurement. This will soon show the impact of the material. Showing how much water, CO2 and energy we saved.

WASTE CIRCULAR

SHARE, REPAIR & RECYCLE

An important goal of our products is longevity. When a product breaks down or you need to replace it, it does not mean the end of a product's life. Therefor we offer a share, repair & recycle service for our bags and laptop sleeves. Is a closure broken, a zipper no longer works or a seam let go? No worries, we will repair your product for free!


Prefer something new? Then you can choose to return the product to us in exchange for a voucher. The voucher will give to a discount on your next order in our webshop. We will refurbish your product and donate it to charity.
